Introduction
Professor Iyer leads the Department of Econometrics at King's College, where she strengthens graduate training in quantitative methods and advances research at the intersection of macro-financial stability and policy evaluation.
Her methodological interests include time series, structural modelling, and the transparent use of data in public decision-making. She collaborates across economics and finance on projects that speak both to academic audiences and to central banks, treasuries, and development institutions.
As Deputy Director of the Institute for Global Economic Policy, she helps steer institute priorities, doctoral researchers, and outward-facing events. Prospective PhD applicants should read school guidance before making informal contact by email.
